Swiss Firm Launches First Commission-Free Bitcoin ETP on Stockholm Exchange
Swiss company Valor launches Bitcoin Zero ETP exchange product, allowing investors to access Bitcoin in a regulated environment.According to the firm, this is the first Bitcoin ETP without a management fee. However, investors will still have to pay standard brokerage fees.
An ETP is a security whose value is determined by another underlying asset, such as a currency or commodity. Bitcoin Zero ETP will circulate on the Nordic Growth Market in Stockholm.
“The launch of Bitcoin Zero ETP marks an important step towards the massive diffusion of digital assets and allows investors to diversify their portfolios with access to Bitcoin, which has nearly tripled in value over the year,” said Valor founder Johan Wattenström.
Last week, investment manager VanEck announced the launch of a Bitcoin-Pegged Exchange Traded Note (ETN).
