Canadian public company liquidates Ethereum and Monero for bitcoin
Canadian investment firm Cypherpunk Holdings has announced an increase in its Bitcoin holdings. Since the publication of the last reports on June 30, 2020, her investments in cryptocurrency have grown by 72,979 BTC ($ 1.2 million).In order to increase its share in bitcoin, Cypherpunk completely liquidated assets in Ethereum (ETH) and Monero (XMR), and also raised 505,000 Canadian dollars and 388,000 US dollars. The CEO of Cypherpunk is Antanas Guoga, a Lithuanian businessman, politician and former professional poker player, better known as Tony G. According to the company's website, in addition to assets in cryptocurrencies, it holds stakes in Wasabi Wallet, Samourai Wallet and Chia blockchain platform.
According to Bitcoin Treasuries, Cypherpunk is now ranked ninth among publicly traded companies in terms of Bitcoin holdings. Cypherpunk is listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange under the ticker HODL.
